Thrown from white stoneware on my pottery wheel before being turned and then carved by hand to create a panelled effect on the form.
I love throwing tall narrow shapes and this vase was no different. Such a tiny neck makes for very fiddly throwing which is right up my street, plus it makes the form perfect for a single flower stem. I try and make the panels quite clean but also with enough movement in them that they don't look unnatural.
This vase has been glazed on the inside and out so it's fully waterproof.

These pieces are dishwasher safe - although hand-washing with warm soapy water will prolong the lifespan of the glaze.
Orders can be either posted to your home, or can be collected from my studio in Barton Hill (Bristol) during December on these dates:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 15th.
