This is an angular bud vase in a glaze I've spent the past 4 or so months developing, and that has ended up being called Burnt Umber - it's a taupe, orange, gold colour, breaking darker brown on sharper edges. This form is a nice shape which allows the glaze to flow in a way that highlights the natural variation of the colour, as well as being a nice little pot for a small pinch of flowers, foraged or grown or plucked from a hedgerow.
