Thrown from gently-flecked stoneware clay, these bowls are the perfect size for porridge, cereal, soup or salads. With a nicely curved base and a turned footring, I've glazed these with my sea foam glaze using a pouring method which creates a kind of 'scalloped' effect on the outside of the bowls. It's really pretty and allows the glaze to really sing - there are lots of tiny crystals which form on the surface where it's a little thicker, and where it's thinner you have these lovely glassy sections that traverse the colour-wheel from turquoise to white.

Each of these bowls is stamped with my maker's mark on the underside, and have a nice sturdy footring so they don't topple over. Porridge has never been so tempting!

  • I dishwasher all of my handmade pottery and they're absolutely fine, but to preserve the lifespan, (and if you can be bothered) handwashing is a gentler option.
