The result of an afternoon's throwing trying out new forms and blissfully playing, these candlestick holders are thrown from my gently-flecked stoneware clay and high-fired for durability. 
 
I have two which are slightly different from one another - the one on the left is smooth and the one on the right has throwing rings left in the clay resulting in small grooves into which the glaze sinks - both lovely, just a minor design change. 
 
Please note: these have holes in the bottom so that you can push the candle back up out of the holder so they don't get trapped and all stuck in the cup! As a result of these these do not have my maker's mark on them. Just wanted to mention that in case that was a deal-breaker for anyone.
