These short bud vases are thrown from gently-flecked durable stoneware clay by hand on the potter's wheel, before being trimmed and then carved by hand. They're then bisque fired before being dipped in my absolute favourite olive glaze and then fired to 1260 degrees. The glaze is a beautiful rich green made up of thousands of tiny green crystals which are really pretty up close.
This form is a shape which allows the glaze to flow in a way that highlights the natural variation of the colour, as well as being a nice little pot for a small pinch of flowers, foraged or grown or plucked from a hedgerow. Or the perfect gift! For yourself or others!

Can be cleaned by hand with soapy water.

These pieces are dishwasher safe - although hand-washing with warm soapy water will prolong the lifespan of the glaze.
