I've recently become good friends with my carving tool and this little bud vase was the result of an afternoon spent experimenting - I love the way the grooves emphasise the versatility of my Sea Foam glaze, falling thicker into the indents and breaking a light tan on the sharper points.
Thrown from gently-speckled high-fire stoneware clay, this little bud vase would be the sweetest Christmas present along with some dried flowers.
