These short bud vases are thrown from gently-flecked durable stoneware clay by hand on the potter's wheel, before being trimmed and then carved to reveal the panelled grooves running around the form. They're then bisque fired before being dipped in my lovely sea foam glaze and then fired to 1260 degrees. The glaze is a beautiful rich pale blue, breaking brighter and clearer on sharp edges.
This form is a shape which allows the glaze to flow in a way that highlights the natural variation of the colour, as well as being a nice little pot for a small pinch of flowers, foraged or grown or plucked from a hedgerow. Or the perfect gift! For yourself or others!

Can be cleaned by hand with soapy water.

These pieces are dishwasher safe - although hand-washing with warm soapy water will prolong the lifespan of the glaze.
