I've hand-thrown these soap dishes from gently-flecked stoneware clay, before turning them on the wheel, and hand-carving five holes for easy drainage. Fired to 1250 degrees, and covered in my classic oatmeal glaze, they're the perfect gift (to others or yourself) and will quietly elevate your bathroom. Durable and sturdy, they'd make a lovely stocking filler or housewarming gift. 
 
The rings of higher clay keep your soap dry and allow air circulation, and it's easy to clean by rinsing under the tap. Fits standard bars of soap (circular or rectangular). 
 
Finished with my maker's mark on the underside.
