I love these tall jugs - thrown from gently speckled stoneware and with a little pulled handle, they're perfect for a bunch of tulips or daffs because of the small neck which keeps long-stemmed flowers upright with ease. To prevent them from wobbling over, I've left the base intentionally a little thick to anchor them (and your lovely flowers) to the table.

They've been thrown by hand on my potter's wheel before being high fired to 1260 degrees, before being glazed in my favourite olive glaze which - when poured over the form rather than dipped - creates beautiful variation in texture and tone throughout the form.

I enjoy making these jugs as they're all thrown from 1kg clay, pulled to however high I can stretch them on the wheel that day - therefore they range from 21-23cm tall respectively, and all have slightly different surfaces from the glaze application.
